Now capturing from it's new permanent home I give you the first of the processed images from last night.  This is the region around Messier.  15% of 7500 frames.

Panel 2:  I'm pretty sure than Janssen tucked in the shadows in the upper left.  Rheita lower center.

Panel 3:  Janssen still in the frame to the right as we move along the terminator towards the pole.  I took a couple of interesting images near the pole that will be coming soon.

Thanks.  First light with the scope was a couple of weeks back around 3rd quarter.  Haven't had any decent weather since then so I'm pleased for sure with this scope.

I'm not sure why this intrigued me so much last night but here it is.  Lost a bit of the vertical dimension in stacking as I failed to correct for a bit of drift during the capture.  I'm going to try and recover it using the "expand" function in AS!3.  I cropped the horizontal extent of the image as it was nothing but inky blackness.  I'll replace this image if the "expand" feature yields anything worth while.  I hope it does because there is one additional disconnected bright feature.

Great images… Did you happen to capture any occultations while the moon was passing through the Pleiades star field last night?

I was doing hi-res the whole time.  Limb is in some of the images but not sure I can pull stars out of the background.  I'll give it a go when I have a few minutes.  I'll check Starry Night for possible opportunities I wasn't aware of.

Gotcha, noted and thanks. I grabbed one at 8:09pm last night (my post is in the ‘post your iPhone pic’ thread) if you want to compare.
