How are you focusing your images? You seem to be off just a touch. I don't think it's collimation because it seems worse than collimation would cause. Electric focuser on the visual back will definitely help you dial in the focus while at your capture computer.
One more thing to recommend. Download the latest release of Wavesharp (available on the Registax site). It's MUCH more versatile and will do batch processing as well. Cor wrote this major upgrade to Registax during the past year and it's really outstanding, especially on lunar images.

Hey, Arizona? Last night I was out and got about 30 minutes in until a thick high haze kicked in.

Thanks for the suggestions. For focusing I have Zwo EAF and Asiair Plus. I go into video mode, the auto-focuser only works on stars so I manually adjust in and out with the "Slow" adjustment. Too bad there isn't autofocus for the moon. Maybe I'm missing something. Then there has been clouds, honestly, I don't mean to sound uppity, but I'm not used to having clouds around!
For Wavesharp, I read about it too, downloaded it and never tried it. So I just tried it and it looks nice. Any tutorials yet?
Edit: Wrong time of year for the Monsoons (July, August and September).

I know what you mean! What's up with these clouds? I'm not far from you and the next clear nights look like Saturday and Sunday. I got to the point of getting tired of the "hot and clear" forecasts, day after day. Don't remember clouds being such a problem last year.

There is a manual that Cor wrote that is on the same download spot as the software. ASIAir is not really optimized for planetary or lunar. I recommend Firecapture. You can view the image in the preview window and focus directly while looking at the results. Autofocus is not really your friend for planetary.
