I been lucky enough to purchase a vixen super Polaris-FL-102S (fluorite Refractor OTA!) which seems to be highly sort after now and quite a rare find.the scope came supplied with a reducer which I personally wouldn’t have any use for and the only thing i can think it was used for is attached to a DLSR camera of some description.the condition is excellent and the optics are spotless by the looks of things however haven’t got a clue if it’s worth anything.

thankyou all in advance for your suggestions.

I have looked through several FL102s's and own a GP version.  Very nice refractors, you are lucky as you point out.  Don't you love that green?  However, I have never seen the reducer.  It doesn't have any wording like "flattener" on it anywhere, does it?  Vixen has made several iterations of separate flatteners and reducers, such as the ones for my FL55ss and the current 81/105/115 series.

That said, in the used market, I have no clue.

No unfortunately only what’s written on the tin so to speak and looks to be unused as no silver aluminium showing on the thread ends.the glass coatings are brown which is unusual and i would be suprised if it was a flattener of some kind as obviously the scopes were manufactured in the mid part of the 1980,s earlier! 1990s.
