Wow!!!

Wow!!!!

I just mounted it on the Mini Porta moved it once & it just like it there. No problem.

Longer scope balanced better. Anyway the mount held & looked at the moon.

Wow sharp in the 24mm Brandon. 11mm ES & 7mm Nagler 1...

Barlowed the Brans 24 with the Dakin 2.4X Nice...Very nice. what power would that have been? Isn't 2X 12mm? so 2,4X ??? so 9mm???

Had to be as the 7mm Nagler 1 was more powerful & stunning. all of the sharp craters in all ep!

Then viewed the few stars I had. pinpoint. There was a reddish one guessing it was Antares.

Wow, I stayed longer than I wanted but I'm starving.

Very happy with the all around use of this scope & the ep's. Little bit of CA. not distracting & dark background even in my bortle 9!

Such a beautiful beast!

Night 3 of clear skies & two with the Stellarvue! Must be a lucky scope to catch two consecutive nights of clear skies after a month of gray gloom.

Moon was in top form.

Went for the 32 & 24mm Brandon, 24mm TV wide smoothie. 11mm ES 82, 7mm Nagler 1 & wide plossl 9 & 6 from Jon which were very good!!!!

Hard to believe they stood up to the rest but the 7mm Nagler is powerful & sharp. Nothing like magnification to being in details.

Still leaning toward the Televue's... Brandons are great too & light...\\\\

Not much CA. Some faint yellow in the ES & some color but all in all really don't notice it.

Need many more nights & some planets would be nice...

Was out until almost 3AM!!!!

Eating dinner at 3:30AM...

Wishing many photons & clear nights to all.

I discovered my long time friend in NY is also really into astronomy so thinking of getting a kit to gift her...

Nothing like the gift of the stars! Winged it tonight. Just point & go.

Saw a bird fly across the mon & tracked this satellite for quite a while. Don't think it was a plane.

Tired & hungry!

So glad to hear how much you are enjoying it! Some folks just can't stand any CA. For me, a flat field and pinpoint stars are the most important, and the 80/9D delivers beautifully on that
