Try reversing the rotation. I had the same problem until I reversed the rotation direction.

Reverse here in the interface only. You can reverse in acquisition software also, but do only one, since you'd be reversing the reversal.

I can confirm that you need to reverse the rotation for the Pegasus falcon in NINA. I had the same issue until I did so. Rotation status is synced between NINA and the latest Falcon Driver, so changing in one place will change in both. I can’t speak for older drivers.

A year and a half later. I had the same issue. Enabling "reverse" in NINA fixed it for me too.

I think I used to have it, but an upgrade seem to have reset the setting, and I simply forgot to set it back.

Mine does the same thing, it wonders for hours. (Or so it seems.)

But by reversing it, it was seeking the right spot, and plate solving. But that was in the Unity app.

That is, until I thought of setting NINA to reverse, or the Unity to reverse, and of course threw a but hand full of human error back into things. Two reversals are not good.

So, I have it straightened out and hoping it will work as advertised again with NINA.

Sometimes I am my own worst enemy.

If it acts up again, I will undo the reversal in NINA. Then do the reversal in the Unity app.

I think I need a good strong stick at my mount. So, I can whack my knuckles when I get a hair brained idea.

The less I think, the better things run for me.

Thanks again, Dynan!

Good Plan! I learned long ago when problem solving:

1) Check the POWER. Plug the dern'd thing in! Is the circuit on?

2) Change ONE thing at a time.

OKAY, Bullseye!

Only a couple of tiny adjustments and NINA marched right along to guiding and autofocusing, then imaging.

Sucking the light out of the Crab Nebula tonight and trying 15 second exposures, and 1500 each images.

But the rotator did fine. picked 87°, then did a couple of 0.1° corrections.

Working as advertised, so far.

A few more nights and I'll be convinced.

Yes.

But why?

(Is it because it's made in Greece, and they do things the other way around?)

No idea. ‍♂ I’ve got an Esatto and ARCO. Maybe because it’s Italian.
