I've been waiting for a reflector to come back on their website but it's a ota with no mounting rings. can't find any for the scope on their site. i haven't been on their website for a while but remember ordering mounting rings from them. did they discontinue selling them. can't purchase the scope without the rings in order to mount it.

Why don't you look for a different brand with rings?

As far as I know, Orion doesn't have any telescope that they have exclusive rights to. All will be available with a different brand name in maybe a different color.

Here's the Skywatcher with rings, dovetail, finder, and a 2-speed focuser.

Then there's the GSO and Stellalyra with rings, dovetail, finder, fan, and better 2-speed focuser.

think these rings will will work on the Orion. I have the same scope and measured 9 inches.

Mine came with rings, from who knows where. I got it used.

They're not a picture perfect fit, as the tube isn't perfectly round. There's a little gap here and a little gap there. Particularly around the seam in the tube. But they hold it well enough.

Bresser UK has these 232mm Vixen rings.

It appears that the ES Firstlight and Bresser Messier have the same specs as the Orion. 203mm f4.9. But with a better focuser.

I'm curious what you plan to mount it on. It's a big heavy scope that needs a sizeable mount.
