EQ6-R Pro mount, PHD2, Nina. After calibrating E of the Meridian I can get very good tracking (RMS 0.50/0.60) pointing to a DSO E of the Meridian, yet when I slew the scope to a Westerly DSO using the same very good calibration RA just goes off the grid. If I then calibrate West of the Meridian the situation is reversed.
The only way to achieve good tracking both East and West of the Meridian is by using the Flip tool in PHD2, prior to starting any tracking, then all is well and I get the good RMS total.
I have been informed that it could be a side-of-pier issue on the RA motor. I have also got PEC running, but the curves are more like the various peaks in the Himalayas Any ideas please?
