Hi everyone, I present to you my first job with my new telescope. It is a 16" Newton, built with a carbon fiber tube and a TS conical mirror. The cameras used for this first test were a Qsi660 and a 533c.

First I took a color photo, but it seemed to me that the telescope could do more, so I added a luminance photo to give it more detail. In the end the photo had 4 hours of L and 7 of color.

I hope you enjoy it. Thank you all

Amazing details!   I hope to get something half as good someday!

Also, good job on the processing... nicely balanced.

Oh my. Of all the M51 images I've seen lately, this one is really worth clicking through on, to get maximum image scale. And even then, I can still enlarge it further and lose myself in the fine details.

Just superb, both capture and processing.  Really fine work.

Thank you so much for the comments. I have the tube mounted on a Mesu 200, which is limiting me a lot, because I can only use it when there is no wind. I am waiting to install a dome
