I was wondering if some one can tell me why my telescope suddenly stops. I have a 18" dob with Argo Navis and gen1 Servocat  and this is the first time this has happened. Every time I use the goto it stops suddenly, every time it moves on both axis it also stops. One axis at a time in jog seems alright but as soon as I up the speed or use both axis it stops??  Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Power supply unable to supply enough current when demanded?

The situations you mention all demand more current than having less bits moving or stuff moving more slowly. So restricted power is the first thing that comes to mind.

That was my initial thought and checked the power supply to the servocat and motors and all was good. It was working with the same power supply before and now it comes to an abrupt stop.

Well, it could be mechanical or electrical issue. Eccentric gear. Bad motor. But all that stuff is into the territory of disassemble, inspect and test. Hard to make any useful guesses without investigation.
