I was up until the wee hours last night trying to image what everyone and their mother has been imaging. It was a relatively calm night with no real issues, other than me forgetting to hit record again after I checked focus, which I do every hour or so. So I unfortunately lost over an hour due to me being an idiot, but I still managed to stack 3 and half hours worth of 120 second subs. Also with my new Antlia tri-band filter I'm finding that I really need to bump up the exposure times. It seems 120 seconds isn't quite long enough, as processing was a little tricky. Anyways I'm happy because I actually captured a supernova. I have to also say that the filter seems to be doing it's job, for which I'm also happy. Anyways, I will try to get at least another 3 or 4 hours on it tonight so I can improve upon this. The image was taken with my Orion 8" Astrograph with Baader MPCC Mk.3 and ASI174MC with the Antlia Tri-band 2" filter. Processing with DSS, Siril and Photoshop CS4.  As always clear skies and thanks for lookingsmile.gif
