Greetings from southeast Ireland where the sun is splitting the stones, for once.
Yes, I have 2 instances of EQMOD and I want to delete one. I'm not even sure if I said that correctly - instances, is that what I have? Anyway, I've been using NINA for a year and I must have installed EQMOD twice in my ineptitude in the early days.
I think it's come back to bite me and is causing me problems. For example, I just fired up NINA and connected to EQMOD ASCOM HEQ5/6 (there is also EQMOD-2 ASCOM HEQ5/6, annoyingly). It worked, NINA says telescope connected and the EQMOD HEQ 5/6 control panel pops up as normal. Great. However, at the same time, EQMOD-2 HEQ 5/6 pops up also with the error "Connect error: port not available" (which makes sense as the port is used already, right?).
And a couple of days ago, when I connected the telescope successfully, it was very satisfying to not get the EQMOD-2 window upon connection, but then it appeared with the above error (or something similar, sorry, I forget the exact wording) when I disconnected the telescope.
It's worrying me that this unpredicatable behavious is actually manifestly changing mutating on a day to day basis without any intervention by me. It's like the machines are taking over and I'm no longer in control (bit of an exaggeration there).
I'd like to humanely euthenize the EQMOD_2 driver/thing/whatever-it-is once and for all. Or better still, give it away completely free to a new and loving home. Can you tell me how to go about doing this?
Please note, I am very accident prone so pleeeeeeease tellllllllll meeeeeeeee verrrrrryyyyyy slooooooowly using simple words, as if there's a mistake to be made, I will definitely make that mistake. Also, all this intense sunlight is wreaking havoc with my frontal lobe making communication with me all but impossible.
Thanks in advance, you very helpful people
