Hi

I'm all booked to head for Niagara Falls (Buffalo NY) next year for the event.

Living in the UK, I'll only be bringing my camera.

Would love some advice on filters / best practice (Obviously not pointing eyeballs and cameras at a full sun).

And if anyone in the area is having an Eclipse Party.... smile.gif

Cheers

Phil

I picked up a solar filter from astromania. It shouldn't mount the most camera lenses however it won't fit an 80mm scope due to the width of the dew sheild.

Thanks

I'm sure we shouldn't need a dew shield at 1pm (ish)

I'm thinking what ISO levels, exposure times are best at totality?

I'll probably put a solar filter across the entire camera lens before and after.

Cheers

Phil
