My last image of my qhy16200ccd. Also think of selling my TOA but that scope is so well corrected. I am hesitatedlol.gif

 

Imaging details

Mount: Astro-Physics 1100GTO
Telescope: Takahashi TOA-130NS+645 flattener
Camera: QHY16200A

Focuser: 3.5 inch Feather touch focuser with HSM35 motor
Guide camera: Lodestar X2
Filter: Chorma LRGB
Exposure time:
L: 60*20 min, bin1
R: 24*10 min, bin2
G: 24*10 min, bin2
B: 24*10 min, bin2

Post-processing: Pixinsight+Photoshop+RC plug-in

OMG - OK you make me want to get my 130 out of storage! This is absolutely beautiful and the inclusion of the two galaxies at the top - OMG

 

I think you should keep the setup and double your time on it (because 32hrs is not enough???-LOL) and make one of the most beautiful images I have seen in recent years!

That is just stunning. Thank you for continuing to highlight lesser known objects.  You definitely have a particular style, as I knew who had taken the image before I read that it was you.

Thank you! If my cca250 is back from service, my F7.7 TOA130 is a bit more redundant. But still hard to beat TOA's correction and sharpness.

OMG - OK you make me want to get my 130 out of storage! This is absolutely beautiful and the inclusion of the two galaxies at the top - OMG

Thank you, Charlie. I usually see Bart's astro images and use his as my targets. He has a 16-inch Dream astrograph. Mine is 5 inchgrin.gif

I have seen the west Texas skies.  Only time we have skies like that here in Houston is after a Hurricane  LOL

Yeah, I once drove from Houston to Tuscaloosa and went through east Texas and southern 3 states. These areas are so humid and sky is not transparent. 

 

We here do not have exciting big city life as Houston, but we have clear sky, haha
