Too bad that the two UFFs are limited to one per customer, I wouldn't mind a pair of the 10mm. I have the 34mm 70° and it's a nice eyepiece in my Quark and a 2" adapter. I paid around $75 for it, so that's a pretty good deal.

Edit: I just recently received the 1.25" dielectric diagonal last week at the same price as this offer. Initial impressions are favorable.

$26 for the Svbony 7-21 Zoom is a steal. Very nice zoom that I use a lot.

Yeah, that one's in my grab and go case with my AT60ED. It gets a lot of use, especially for white light solar.

I just got mine today after a similar sale the other month. It took quite a while to get to me instead of the usual couple of weeks for other svbony products. I kept getting email alerts that it was "out for delivery" from Compton Ca. Er, ah, something just tells me it was not "straight outta compton"!

I got mine from Svbony's eBay site in California. Cost $45 with free shipping, which is still a great price for the quality, and it arrived in two days.  I've never bought from AlliExpress but their vendors' sale prices are tempting.

That 18mm UFF for $54 has been that price for a couple months now. I've been watching that one waiting for a solid drop in price. $54 is still a good deal for that eyepiece, but too expensive for my curiosity-to-cost threshold.

That 15mm spotting scope eyepiece looks interesting.

I also like the 7-21 for my solar scope.

I tried to buy the 1.25”’diagonal but getting the message that item will not ship to USA.

edit: From the AliExpress App, it was not letting me order. I was able to place the order from my PC. on the AliExpress website

Ordered the diagonal just now... curious how it compares to my existing ones. I just have the stock diagonals that came with my scopes. Aliexpress can be finicky however with ordering I see, took a couple of tries and it didn't like the first acct. I made with them for some weird reason.

Hopefully the thing actually arrives.

edit: And also just ordered the 15mm eyepiece as well. At that price I figured why not try it...

Is that spotting eyepiece better than a Celestron x-cel lx?

Is that spotting eyepiece better than a Celestron x-cel lx?

In my experience, performance levels of the Celestron x-cels vary with the focal length. My 2.3mm x-cel isn't very good and is outgunned by similar focal length higher power eyepieces.

I'd expect the 15mm Celestron spotting scope eyepiece to be as good, if not better, than a similar focal length x-cel  but I haven't compared the two directly with each other.  I do find the spotting scope eyepiece to work quite well in my 16" f4.5 astrosystems dob with a paracorr.

I'll let you know what I think of it in a couple of years when mine arrives.

I have minimal expectations... just hoping it can beat a 15mm goldline.

Couple of years and some more because, you know... New gear means cloudy nights. I'm looking forward to your review

I can just compare against cheapos... 15mm plossl & 15mm goldline, but I'll post what I think. I can test with fast and slow scopes.

Digging around a bit I also found this seller offering pretty good prices on plossls --

https://www.aliexpre...o2usa4itemAdapt

No clue if they are a reliable seller or not, but prices for new people seem good.

I'm seeing an omni barlow at $5.60 and $14 for a 32mm omni plossl. I don't need either, but for bargain hunters, price seems right.

Hoping to find a insane deal on a 3-8 zoom... or something high powered. I'm missing that from my cheapskate lineup.

Would you consider it same or better than the SVBony 15 Red Line? It is 68 degrees AFOV.

Likely better than the 15mm Red Line.

I can tell you for sure but you'll have to wait for the eyepiece to slowly crawl to me.... at best early-mid Oct, most likely. Or this time next year.

I can test against my goldline, which is the same as the redlines.

I'm careful about odd manufacturer sites. Someone may have bought a batch of seconds. The eyepieces that failed inspection.

If you're referring to the Celestron spotting scope eyepiece, this isn't the case.

Is the 34mm 72* eyepiece a good one?

Id love to add it to my set.
To be used on any of my SCT. ( 6, 8, 10”)
