I finally have reached the point where I can use my Losmandy Polar Scope to do polar alignment. The miserable position I need to assume to do so makes me wish that I had asked about alternatives when I ordered my G811G. The QWY Polemaster seems like a superior solution. I really do not want to drag a laptop outside to do this. (One more thing to drop in the dark). There is a cable for connecting the Polemaster to an Android phone but I have seen uncomplimentary things about the Android app. Has this been fixed?

Why not use the right angle viewer for the polar scope?
I have one and it works. No kneeling down.

My G11G and G11/Titan are not compatable with the polar scope therefore I use a polemaster (I already had one anyway that I used with my CGE PRO). Ijust downloaded the android app but cannot use it till I get the adapter cable. I'll post howit works out forme.
