I've been mapping the corrector alignment for the past few clear nights to mark the rotation position and collimate at each position. (There are NO factory marks, unlike my 10" scope which is CLEARLY marked with white paint on the corrector edge and on the tube.) I finished up the full 360 degrees of orientation in 60 degree increments, it's definitely better where it was and similarly with the orientation opposite to where it was. I grabbed these lunar images at position 5 (60 degrees from where I started) and they are meh. IN ALL cases the residual astigmatism is still present in the optics so while I now have a decent understanding of the corrector, I'm going to have to pull the main mirror and see if it's pinched by the baffle or perhaps suffers from too much adhesive mounting the mirror to the slide. (Yes I've been reading and frankly don't trust sending it back to Meade now that I have the mount working great.
Here are the pics I took using my ASI585MC camera with a 2x Barlow and my ADC.
