This is early days as I am still in the process of setting it up but as there's a "limited offer" on Amazon right now I thought I'd just mention this in case anyone else could also use this as a cpature/control PC on their astrophotography rig...

I ordered that last week and have then spent the time setting up no password log-in, RDP, ASCOM, NINA, PHD2, Stellarium, SharpCap, ASTAP, etc etc - so far it's been a joy to use.
Apart from the fact that it's a pretty capable little Win11 Pro CPU - rather than J4125 or N5105 as so many of these mini PCs currently are - this is Alder Lake N95 with quite a performance increase the key selling point of this little box is the fact that it is SO LITTLE. The sales stuff gives an idea...
So in the two longer dimensions it's about as long as a credit card and then it's about an inch and a half (40mm?) thick. Oh and the whole thing weighs just over 200g
Now it's true that it has two CAT5 Ethernet that I don't need and three(!) HDMI that I only need one of for initial setup so a lot of the expansion space is "wasted" and it only has three USB3 but I spent another £8 to get...

which is about 1/4 the size of the PC and I have velcro'ed on top - sure it uses one of the three USB3 but adds four more - so a total of six useable and certainly for cheap and cheerful Svbony cameras it seems to make no difference whether I run them direct or via this hub.
After installing all the software tools I think I need on there there's 192GB of the initial 256GB left.
A possible downside is that while the 256GB SSD is socketed and could be replaced the 8GB RAM is soldered to the board so there's no possibility to update that - but I won't be doing full processing on this - just image capture and even when stacking in Sharpcap in initial EAA experiments it seems to work very nicely.
Only time will tell when I have everything fully set up but so far it's looking promising. Unless something disastrous pops up I would highly recommend it from what I have seen so far!
