Clear skies, albeit with compromised seeing and clarity today. There was lots of activity from AR3435 – flaring and many dark volley filaments. There was also a hot eruptive prominence on the western limb. Fascinating to watch, but not much to crow about photographically, not for me and my simple method, anyway.

I like when people don't ignore the red of hydrogen alpha. This is so much better than the annoying orange (pun intended).
