Good Morning Gentlemen,

After my fun time of manually aligning and learning the hard way how to Polar align, I broke down and purchased the following:

1. ASIAIR Plus

2. ZWO ASI220MM-MINI with f/4 guidescope

3. ZWO 2600MC Pro

4. 12" ACF LX200 guiding equipment

I've been looking online for a wiring configuration for my AFC LX200 setup and not really seeing any examples (most likely because I should have just purchased an off-axis guider). I have the following questions:

1. Do I power the LX200 from the ASIAIR Plus or do I run a power cable like normal?

2. Do I keep the Autostar II controller connected or do I leave it in the box?

3. Where to I plug the USB to Serial adapter ZWO linked me when I asked for help in the base of the LX200?

Thanks again for all your help!

1. Don't power the mount from the ASI AIR, it could lead to problems.

2 and 3 no idea, I only use Celestron mounts.

I have a lx90 12 inch acf. I have asiair plus and an asi camera. Wondering how you are going about your guiding? Do you use a guide cam or just he lx200 autostar.

1. Use the original power supply. (The classic version used an 18 V power supply versus a 12).

2. Keep the audio store plugged in as it is required for the system to boot up. (At least it's that way for the classic)

3. It's a special USB cable which basically takes USB to basically a phone jack. They can be purchased prebuilt and they plug in to the base of the LX200 where it says RS232.

4. While they were cool when they first came out the LX200 is now considered archaic technology. For it to actually auto guide you need to run that phone cord type cable from the guide camera to the autoguider port. (Newer mounts do everything through USB.)

If anyone is entered If anyone is interested I have the Autofil200 wifi adapter. It works great once I have everything booted up I just run everything from a computer or a tablet.  I mentioned this because I like to reduce wires.
