After a couple years of using a small refractor, I just acquired an EdgeHD 1100 and am loving it. It is easier to manage than I anticipated. Attached is the first galaxy with it NGC7331.

Another Edge 11 image from last night - the Silver Sliver Galaxy. Again I am surprized at what can be done with a SCT and the current editing tools. I purchased the Edge 11 for mainly planet and ISS imaging, not expecting I would enjoy it this much for deep space objects.
