I just upgraded from an iPhone 12 Pro to an iPhone 15 pro max and I'm learning how to shoot in RAW and mess with settings to use my phone more like a DSLR camera to hold me off and practice until I get an EQ6R and a dedicated Astro cam.

I have been able to capture some pretty good pictures using the Nightcap app and it's easy to use. Now I'm waiting for them to update the app to work with the new camera zoom points.

I also downloaded AstroShader off the cloudy nights forums, but I haven't got to try it yet.

But now that I have the upgraded phone and camera with RAW capabilities I've come across ReeXpose and Even Longer app, price is not a factor for me if it works well...I can buy it and be done, but I would like it to stay relevant and not be a total waste.

What are your experiences with these app? Any good places for tutorials or settings? Is there another app you would recommend for what I want to do?

I'm just trying to find the most current app that works well for astrophotography. I like lunar and planetary shots for now and started getting into stacking so I can start shooting DSO.

Hi,

There's the Smartphone Astrophotography forum: https://www.cloudyni...e#entry12984742 Some folks on there may have some advice.

There's also the AstroShader Vendor forum: https://www.cloudyni...esters-wanted/

I'm looking for anyone to beta-test currently - especially with newer devices - so any feedback or ideas for features is very welcome!
