Can't get SkyPotal WIFI to connect with my iphone and ipad.

I don't know if this will help, but here's the 2 step process I use. I make sure to first connect my phone WiFi to the (Evo 6) scope. Only then do I open SkyPortal.

Yes, that's how I use it too. Skyportal use to work for me for about three months and then it just stopped working one day and cannot get it to work any more (even on ipad and wife's phone). Even Celestron don't know what to do. Doesn't look like I'll be able to use SkyPortal but that's ok. I'm pretty successful with just leveling the mount on a piece of 3/4 in plywood, and using a higher power (11 mm) to do final alignment in eyepiece.
