One of Cassiopeia's beautiful nebulae is the Bubble Nebula (NGC7635 - 11300 light-years from Earth). But when you widen the field, you come across a small open cluster containing around a hundred stars (M52) and also the Lobster Claw Nebula (SH2_157 - 11050 light-years from Earth). So I tried to fit these three targets into my camera lens and it worked. The bad news is that I was set for 6 hours of shooting and the clouds only left me 2 But I think the result is already nice... This is a work in progress as I intend to add exposure time to this RGB version and then add a HOO version.... Technical details :
- Askar FRA500 (F500/D90) scope
- Celestron AVX mount
- Set-up QHY PoleMaster
- Guidance ZWO120MM + PHD2
- Pegasus FocusCube 2 focuser
- Mount and sequencer control: NINA
- ZWO ASI 2600 MC PRO camera (gain 101, Temperature - 10°C, Offset 50)
- L-Pro filter
- Lights 43x180s, 50 DOF
- SIRIL stacking and pre-processing
- PixInsight, BlurXterminator and Noise Xterminator processing
- Luminar NEO post-processing
