Has anybody ever purchased from Antila directly before? This new Quadband filter is coming our, I emailed their sales department and they gave me a weird email for PayPal to purchase it for a early bird special. Has anybody ever done this before? I mean I would be using PayPal goods and services, but still always leery of doing this, figured I would ask on here.

I purchased the Antlia 393nm CaK wedge directly from them on line. Credit card. No problem.

Best bet is too verify the domain name that you are purchasing from to make sure it is Antlia (http://www.antliafilter.com/). If you have the right domain name (not Antila) and you are using PayPal, which has fraud protection, then you are protected.

Sorry, I was wrong. I got the Antlia 393nm wedge from:

and for those interested it greatly enhances the faculae across the sun's disk, but it will not give you a real CaK image.
