Unfortunately this seems standard procedure with Shop at Sky. We have been waiting for an order for 7 weeks and have heard nothing. I* doubt we will go through the hassle of ordering books from them again.

Why are paperbacks so expensive?

I ordered Vol. 10 of the Annals of the Deep Sky on 12/5/23. (I have all of the previous books.)  I do not remember when the new volume arrived sometime in January as I was dealing with some medial issues.  In March I was back in shape enough to get back to observing. Galaxies in Draco were my targets.   I opened up Vol. 10 to study up on targets in Draco to find MANY blank pages in the section on Draco. Sixteen total pages, all in the section on galaxies. I contacted Sky Publishing on 4/5/24 regarding this problem via e-mail.  I am disappointed to say the least at the "customer service" Sky Pub. offers.   Today I was asked for the order number so a replacement copy could be provided. I dug up my credit card statement and sent the number associated with this purchase from my credit card.  I hope that is the needed information.

Ahhh @RPSchrauf, thanks for letting us know. This is the second example we (the Annals team) know of of this printer error. ShopAtSky will send a replacement copy, please let us know at annalsofthedeepsky@gmail.com if this doesn't get fulfilled in a timely manner. We don't have much influence over their process of fulfilling orders but we can attempt to help troubleshoot if you've been through a few rounds of emails with them without a resolution.
