A short timelapse showing the Ganymede transit over the southern edge of Jupiter surface.

 

Date: 28/29 September 2023
Time: 23:18 - 01:07 GMT+2
Setup: GSO Classical Cassegrain 8", focal length extended to 3.400mm
Camera: ASI 462MC
Filter: UV/IR Cut
Post-processing: PiPP → AS3! → RegistaX → ImPPG → PS

 

21 frames in total, each frame is stack of 20% of 10.000 images.

Wow, I was wondering how the GSO CC8 performed for planetary imaging. Nicely done!
