Hi all! First time in this subforum, with first images of Jupiter & Saturn - been practicing over the last few days. My Dad ( Flying_Fox ) brought his planetary camera for my Celestron 127SLT telescope.

It's great fun - and a big learning curve!

Absolutely fascinating to watch the weather changing on Jupiter - new colours, new clouds - over just a few days. The way post-processing is able to work magic to stack images then bring out details is jaw-dropping.

We're going to try to capture the partial occultation of Ganymede by Jupiter tonight... :)

One more to add - Saturn with family of satellites. :)

I processed Saturn separately from the satellites due to wildly different brightness, then added them in place in Photoshop.
