Does this work??

https://drive.google.../drive/my-drive

The playback is in B&W but its recorded in color.  Any reason for this?

You've provided generic links to "my-drive", which in my case takes me to my drive, not your drive.

In google drive you need to click on the file you uploaded to select it. Then, on the right hand side, click on Manage Access. In the resulting dialog box, set the General Access so that "Anyone With the link" can access it, and then click the button to "Copy link". Then paste it here.

It will look something like this:

I have 4.0 but some settings got changed and it no longer worked.  That's me not knowing the basics.

The file size is 1.2GB. .

I don't see how to find that ap.  sorry

The camera is the ZWO ASI224MC.

Give me some more time..

Is this what you're asking for?

Yes; those are good. Looks like you have a 2.4 GHz quad core i7 with 12 GB of physical RAM. That's decent enough to stack a 1.2 GB AVI file.

Don't worry about that. The file has not been debayered yet. The color information is all there (probably).

You need to click on the file name to select it. Then you should see Manage Access. If you still don't see it, click on the file name to select it and then right click and choose "Share." You should get the same dialog box.

And no, that link doesn't work (yet), because you have to allow somebody with the link to access the file.

That worked.

I have reproduced your error. It looks like there is a corrupted frame. Working on a workaround now.

I used PIPP as a pre-processor with no changes enabled. I just used it to read in the AVI and write it back out as a SER file, hoping it would fix whatever corrupted frame Autostakkert had a problem with. It worked.

Here's your capture, red channel only, with minimal sharpening.

Great job and a terrific illustration of why image processing is at least 1/2 the battle when it comes to high-resolution imaging.  To anyone reading along (including the OP) we just have to take the time to understand the processing side of things and frankly, at least for me, that's the hardest and seemingly never ending part of the journey.

Thanks so much, Borodog! That looks great.  I knew that capture had potential.   I'm getting ready to leave to town to visit telescope builder John Pratte this weekend. He has a new mirror test stand using an optical flat and we're gonna have some fun and null test some mirrors. I will have more questions later...
