Hello all,

 

With a full frame sensor, 24mm wide angle lens, the TSE, Venus, Jupiter, and the Pleiades will all be in the frame. I suspect Venus and Jupiter will be visible specs, but what about M45? My guess is no, but thought I'd ask.

But why would you want to do it?  At those focal lengths the sun is going to be a large spec.  Divide the FOV by .5 degrees to get a sense of the how many suns will fit in the image.

The only reason why would be the novelty of all those disparate objects visible at once. It won't make the cover of any astronomy magazine, but it could be interesting if, and only if, M45 is visible.
