Congratulations, Wes! I've always been in awe of your lunar images.

And to everyone else in the contest, each and every one of them were remarkable in their own rights. Excellent job to all of you!!!

Congratulations, Wes! As soon as I saw your image I knew the outcome of the contest.

My son asked, "Where did he take that image from, an Apollo?" :)

Wes, that's possibly the most awesome image i've ever seen on CN. It looks like you can reach out and touch it.

Wes, Every time I see one of your images I am reminded of what excellence is! You have consistently managed to make the Moon a place, a tangible surface upon which we can roam. Congratulations to you and to everyone that participated.

Wes,
As always an awesome shot you have.
I look at it and it makes me feel like I am orbiting the Moon.
Awesome !

At first I thought that this was a picture taken by one of those pre-Apollo lunar probes that we sent up in the 1960's. I did not think that a pic of this quality could be taken from the earth's surface.

Who would have thought that the color gray could look so beautiful. Superb shot. Thanks for the desktop background, Wes.

Absolutely an astounding image. The sharpness and detail is exquisite. This image is so good, you might almost think it was taking from a satellite in orbit around the moon!

The bar has been raised! :waytogo:

Someone came up with the notion that January 22nd is the unhappiest day of the year. Certainly, a drizzling Monday at work doesn't help. Then I end the day with something like this. Thank you, Wes, your stunning photograph saved my day!
