M 16 Eagle Nebula in the constellation Serpens, abt 7,000 light-years from Earth. 10.5 hrs (3795x10sec) - Bortle 5, GraXpert + Siril + AstroSharp.

Had a small window last night to grab the Trifid Nebula (Messier 20), but had a hiccup with the S50 I haven't seen before. I selected the object, and hit go-to just like normal, but it was off to the far right of the screen. Definitely NOT centered. I stopped the S50, then used the joystick to just randomly move the lens. I then started the entire process over like normal. It almost centered it the second time, but was close enough so I let it run for 20 minutes of 10 second subs. Here is the result.
Do I need to calibrate the S50? Normally it only asks me to do that if I am imaging the Sun or Moon. Anyway, if the clouds cooperate, I'll give it a try next session. TIA!

finally getting around to editing some data i've been collecting...
this is approximately 6.7 hours of data on the Cygnus Wall of the North American Nebula, NGC 7000.
Taken with the S50 over the course of several nights in a row in June.
S50 in eq mode, 10s exposures, 2390 light frames
combined files in Astro Pixel Processor and edited in Pixinsight

IC 1318A shot 242 30 second exposures or about 2 hours of data. Edited in Siril, GraXpert, Gimp and Mac Photos app.
I was on vacation in Lake Tahoe, CA in Bortle 5 skys. Lake Tahoe is at about 6000 ft. of elevation which helps substantially as you are viewing through much less atmosphere than my 220 ft. above sea level home.

next up of data i collected the last couple months.
M16 Eagle Nebula
shot this over several nights with 10s and 20s exposures.
fits header for the integrated stack says 12.8hrs total integration time.
S50 in eq mode.

Another data set from June. SH2-82, The little cocoon nebula and surroundings.
20s subs for ~9.5hrs of total integration with an EQ mounted S50 array.
Seestar_Alp control. (Gains were bumped from the factory default 80 to 110)
Post processing including G2V color calibration and saturation boost in PI.

This photo can really benefit from Starnet. Stretching the nebula individually will help it pop!

Thank you, I will look into Starnet.

the Trifid and Lagoon Nebula
just under 2 hours of integration here. hoping it won't be too smokey or cloudy so i can put more time in this coming new moon.

That’s a very nice image and looks much better in the Astrobin file.

I had the same thing happen on M20 last night. I thought that a cloud may have passed through during final alignment and that threw it off a little. I centered it using the joystick.
