Thanks,

In early November, $1400 includes the AZ base, and the price includes all costs (air freight to the world). We are responsible for tariffs, value-added tax, and consumption tax in Europe, America, and most countries

I am using UMI 17 mount for 2 months now. It is a solid mound and tracks very well(0.4-0.7 arc secs). The adjustment knobs for Polar Alignment are better than AM5 for sure. My only complaint is the slew speed, I am sure there must be a way to fix it.

Hi guys,

Does anyone have some experience in making it work with NINA. I was able to make it work after some research. Looks like the latitude has a different convention. Also, it keeps forgetting the home position which I know is a OnStep thing. To overcome all the hassles I use it with ASIAIR.

AFAIK the Ragdoll 20 is not on ebay yet, direct order from the Proxisky website.

It indeed looks like a better deal than the AM5 in case it delivers what's on the label. Theoretically a 12" Newtonian would be a real possibility with that!

Difficult decision though, the UMi 17R is significantly lighter, but I don't know if the weight saving comes with any kind of tradeoff compared to the AM5N or Ragdoll 17.

UMI has an official Discord channel, and online customer service provides real-time after-sales support

Does this mount have an advantage over the Juwei-17 ?

Each has its own advantages, J17 has a low price and color options,

Proxisky has complete after-sales service and customer support, which is basically out of the box and has more complete functions

If you like DIY, have a low budget, and are familiar with Onstep, choose J17

If the budget is sufficient, choose Proxisky directly without comparison
