The last two months have the sunspot count slightly under the predicted number. 

Looking at cycle 24 it is not uncommon for monthly numbers to fall below the average only to rise again.

Predicted max is ~ summer 2024 and could still be above predictions.  Time will tell.

I subscribe to a you tube channel that keeps me updated on solar activity , very informative, well put together.
References to solar sun spots, Corona mass ejections, radiation. And how it affects our weather, Auroras,radios and GPS navigation .

So much to learn about our nearest star , and its facinating , we are just now starting to unlock the workings of our sun , its cycles .
