Last week I have ordered the ZWO ASI 533MC Pro directly from ZWO website (was able to save 10% on black Friday sale :-P ). Its been more than a week now since I made the purchase and I have only received the tracking ID and it seems its from UPS. No updates to it since last 4 days. I have a couple of questions:

 

1. What is the usual delivery time if ordered directly from ZWO?

2. As I live in the California, how much of import and sales taxes will i have to pay on delivery? (as they were not collected by the ZWO while billing)

 

Appreciate if anyone can share their experiences here.

In my experience, including with ZWO, most deliveries from China run around 11 days.

 

I've never been charged sales or import duties.

+1 nic35. To west coast USA. To India, the OP's stated location, could be VERY different.

There is a "use tax" imposed as part of your California State Income Tax. One pays it instead of the sales tax. I do not know what it is, but I think it follows a formula that includes your income and some other stuff. I have never had to deal with it, but it is one of the questions TurboTax asks.

Don't know if you've since heard back but I'm in a similar boat. 

After emailing all the emails I could find linked to the ZWO help center they pretty much said because of the Black Friday event surge, things were going to ship out mid December.

To request a shipping number you go to https://support.astr...ing-camera.com/ and down near the bottom there is a box to check specifically for requesting a tracking number. 
 

Also +1 to Nic35 on shipping time.

 

The email I got a response from was info@zwoptical.com.
