The variable seeing conditions near the end of November meant, just like the lotto, you never know what you will get.

Cloudiness was rough during the evening , but cleared and allowed some captures. The second however was past meridian and the last few were over the rooftop, which eventually invaded the capture.

That is impressive detail, Amrit! Are you use your 3x teleconverter with the Uranus C (IMX-585) camera? Your image scale looks like what I'm getting with a C14!

Yup! The teleconverter works very nicely. I use it in all my planetary

What does Winjupos or Firecapture say your image scale is? f/30 would be double the recommend 5x times pixel size for your camera.

I done some captures too with my ES 3x teleconverter and ASI585 as a result I got some of better Jupiter of the season.

I know that's not the better way to do and in theory doing that there's not an increase of details compared to the mathematical defined best sampling but I find that in some cases oversampling makes pictures (specially  the colors) looking more natural and planet less flat.

Anyway Amrit, your pictures looks always spectacular and looking at these (and to the ones from Tulloch), convinced me to buy the C9.25, and finally I'm very happy with it.

Where in firecapture I can find that? Where is it located in the text file?

The 3x makes the scope imaging feel.....more robust. It's hard to describe it. It's quite fun.

The shocker was the 3x with the Meade 20. I was planning to use a 2x, but I saw the dreaded onioning of undersampling. I paired the 3x and it opened it up amazingly.

Here is the secret. The best way is the way that makes you want to come back an image more. If it's magic makes you like it, you made the right choice in your configuration

In the firecapture text file about ten lines down it estimates the focal length and f/#.

I am not sure whats going on with firecapture. Its not recording that now, but used to. Using the data from another capture last year it puts my data as

FocalLength=5500mm (F/23)
