Very simple answer: I prefeer larger FOV eyepieces due way more immerssive views!

Denis

Do you have a cutoff as far as AFOV where you feel an eyepiece is “restrictive” vs. “immersive”?

Or does this depend on other factors in addition to just the AFOV like eye relief and tolerant eye-placement?

That sounds like me!  Yes, I enjoyed the views with my old CZJ and ZAO-II orthos, but I will never give up my T5 and T6 Nagler collection.  The views are too stunning - I feel like I am floating out there and can reach out and touch the stars.

Cheers,

Ron

Ron,

I love a lot all Naglers in binoviewers as well.

XWAs 100/110 def epcs, and Morpheus line are my favorite bino sets.

Hi Denis, how did the 6mm TPLs work in the binoviewer? I am concerned about binoviewing with only 4mm eye relief… Thanks!

When eyeguards are removed, they works fine in bino mode for me.
