The cassette deck and floating compass is what completes this setup!

That telescope is the result of terminal tinkeritis. Some of the "mods" people propose are just nuts. But maybe the owner had more fun playing with the telescope than using it. To each his own.

Are you sure it's not a precision hot dog cooker, if it is can I copy it please.

A wholesaler of mine has one of those commercial jobs

that roll the dogs and do a fine cook. I'll go in there just for a hot dog, and end up leaving with

a box full of supplies that I didn't really need. Now that's smart.

Costco sells 100 million hot dogs a year in the food court and they loose money on every

one of them. Their thinking is to get you in there with a wonderful 100% beef dog and drink for

$1.50, and you will leave with $300 worth of groceries and a $1000 TV.

I really do!

I'm super curious about the intent the builder had. When I look at that setup, I imagine someone with a mind on fire with ideas.

That certain specific frugality or style that is derived with syzygy of newly gained knowledgehurry up and I really think this might work ! - it calls to me.

That C11 is either equipped with cooling fans or thrusters for reentry.

It is possible that C11 has a lot of fake stick on for sales gimmick or someone's old joke.

Maybe ,but looks real enough to me. esp with what I guess are non-original holes drilled into it.

Intake and exhaust fans on either end with plexi-glass boxes to keep weather/dust out a bit?  Are thermal currents that problematic that you can't just let this sit outside for a half hour or whatever?

The LED display I'm guessing is temperature in Celcius (~70F room temp would make sense) at either end of the tube?   Inside OTA, and outside OTA? Perhaps simple hysteresis (or an "if/then") controller turns fans on when the delta-T between the two triggers it?  IDK

*I'm not knowledgable enough with SCT/C11 or scopes in general comapred to you folks, so please correct me.  But, assuming that's all real, seems like it might introduce more problems than fix easily solved ones.

Do you like spagetti?

I found this photo in one of the other forums and I just had to keep it.

It looks like a joke but it was a serious post.

You might say it's a GGT, Grab and Get Tangled.

BTW, the SGW Meade is $387.70 to ship to me.
