Hi, I am going to see this years eclipse, and was wondering if anyone that has had the IR conversion done from Lifepixel has done any solar imaging with it? I was going to order a threaded "white light" solar filter from Thousand Oaks for my 500mm lens, but wondering how it will work with the IR sensor?  Anyone try this?

Thanks!

Solar imaging with Lifepixel modified camera

Look at my endeavor with an MILC and total failure... when it came to solar. Eclipse is bit different ball game than dedicated solar. Read about the dedicated solar solution/s that I got steered into in the same thread. Start with dedicated, and then branch off to eclipse science as needed. Regards

Note: On a side note, latest on my endeavors here....
