Here comes an image of M101 shot from ~ Bortle 4 skies over the course of 4 nights.

Nicely done! 

 

Looks like last year's supernova has mostly faded.  Hope the folks out there, at least the ones not too close to it, are starting to recover.  Perhaps their version of the "Christmas Star" will have a positive impact on their civilization's progress.
