i want to thank everyone on this thread for the valuable positioning and weather feedback, the camaraderie of going through this eclipse together (even if I didn't actually meet up with any of you in person), and the cumulative stress reduction of knowing that I wasn't going through this frantic planning alone.  clear skies to all of you, and i'll probably talk to some of you when prepping for spain 2026.  it was a blast and i hope you all have clear skies.

Indeed!  This was like the best of crowdsourcing and I learned a lot about what to expect, how to prepare, etc.
