Well, I messed up and didn’t order a dsusb2 for my Nikon in time for the eclipse. Are there any other options that can meet the time line and works with eclipse orchestrator?

B&H has it in stock for $24.95 w/ free 2 day shipping over $49 https://www.bhphotov..._3_0_cable.html

It appears to be a standard USB 3 cable. Appearances can be deceiving, so I'd do a search to see what others say.

Any one of these will do. Pick whatever length you need.

My D810 takes a duplex USB cable like this one. I have identical cables for a couple external computer hard drives.
I would guess that the D850 uses the same type of duplex USB cable.

Thanks guys, Eclipses are different... you have to analog control the shutter... when you use the USB cable, it disables the buffer and at the speeds you need to capture stuff that makes it not work.

Ended up ordering parts off amazon and building the same cable as here:

Works great.

Thanks,

Chris
