High definition shot of the enormous sunspot present in the active zone 3590. The size of the active region, at the date of the shot, can be estimated at 3,439.4 million square km, based on data reported by the SpaceWeatherLive website.

 

Setup: Newton SW 150/750P, filter Astrosolar Baader and UV/IR Cut, Asi585 color, Barlow 2,5x.
