Forgive me if this is against forum rules (mods--please delete if that's the case) but I am desperate.

My great aunt passed away and her daughter (my aunt) wants her to be buried with her "favorite star," b Uma/HR3505. While I have the gear/ability to take, stack, and process a high-quality/printable image, the California weather refuses to cooperate and unfortunately, I am out of time. If anyone can assist, I'd greatly appreciate the help. Even a previously shot image would work, provided it closely matches framing shown below. I know I could easily search online for something but it would make it infinitely special for my aunt to know the image came from someone in a community I am connected with.

Framing of b Uma - HR3505 I'm after:

b Uma - HR3505

Here's is a wide field view showing the area of sky:

Ursa Major

This will not be sold, published, etc.--it will be printed for my aunt to include in my great aunt's casket.

Thank you.

I don't have permission to see the images. Perhaps this is in a private album?

If all else falls through, here's a Palomar Sky Survey image obtained through Aladin.   Query: How did this come to be her favorite star?  There's probably an interesting story behind that.

Sorry, my son is using my camera for his photography class, and he left it set to JPEG-only. I discovered this after the clouds rolled in… frown.gif

You can stack JPGs.  You can't do a full calibration, but you may get something satisfactory.

If weather permitted, I would do this -- I started to, last night, but clouds moved in.  No clear weather is predicted at my location for about a week to come.

What's the time left for this? The skies are unexpectedly clearish, but there's another hour or so to nightfall…

Got it!

Let me know if the full size or cropped zoom don't hit the mark, and I can post the 100% scale TIFF somewhere…
