I’m getting it together with this but wanted to put it out there. With the OCA on the bino out, it functions as a long focal length 2x Barlow as I understand it. When I add the TV, the OCA power actually goes down from 2x but the Barlow power goes up, right, say by a factor of around 25%? Without the OCA, but with the 3x Barlow/bino it shoots up by around that same percentage I’m seeing. Thanks for any insight or an algebraic function would be nice. Clear skies.

I am not sure what bino do you have but the OCA usually attaches to the bino so the magnification of that combo is 2x and it does not change. Attaching additional 3x barlow to this combo will likely create other problems. Why would you do it?
