Bought SkyEvents yesterday. A few comments after using for a few minutes.

 

The app window size is not adjustable and its height exceeds my screen, so I can't see the entire app window.

 

The fonts used are very small and hard to read.  Making the app window "full screen" might help.

Can you please indicate which text needs bigger font ? Does it apply on the entire window ? I am working on an update to correct the layout problems and I will post it asap. Thank you for your comments. I will announce the update in this thread.

An update of the SkyEvents desktop app is available now.

It fixes layout issue and offers three text sizes to choose from.

Updated version:

 

Main window is now larger but can't adjust window size by grabbing corners, etc.

 

Tried to change text size from medium to large - nothing happened. Same with changing to small.  Seems to be stuck at medium.

 

Microsoft Surface Go running Windows 10 fully up to date if that matters.

Hi,

 

I am sorry that it did not work as expected.

 

It has fixed size as there is no gain from making it full screen.

 

My intention was to have it open while working or photographing. That is why it is modular.

 

Did you click on apply button when making changes to text size ?

 

I tested it in desktop pc and notepad and it worked without problems.

 

I have not tested on Surface so I can not tell if it has any issues there. 

 

Can you install it on a desktop or any other pc to see if it has the same problem ?

If the apply button is at the it bottom of Preferences, I can't see or click it because the Preferences window is vertically too long to fit on my Surface screen.  I don't have a desktop, just the Surface Go.
