Keep your eyes open for Shergar and Lord Lucan while you're at it.

I enjoy looking at your photos.  Even if they don't turn out to be meteorites they're often interesting.

Only way you will know if its a meteorite let alone a Lunar meteorite is to send it off whole or a decent part of it to a lab that specializes in classifications and compositions. Having collected and sold meteorites for years and dealing with the top renown meteorite Dealers in the world, there are several labs that will test and determine if its a meteorite. I believe they do this for free, however it may take time like several months to a year or so. A search on the internet will show several labs that specialize in this.

I will say it looks interesting with its basalt look to it.

Good luck!

Cheers

Don

Interesting! With some reasonable certification, lunar meteorites go for around $100/gram. Without certification, they go for around $0/gram. The differential in cost is knowing that it is indeed lunar rather than most likely not.    Tom
