Here I want to show you latest run of Baader Mark V binoviewer.
For comparation I have old Zeiss binoviewer for comparation (down below), where you will see more greyish colour of body.
But why I put that binoviewer for comparation?
Its because previous Mark V production have absolutely same design and look of back middle part.
Here is new back painted look "under" the Zeiss T2 bayonet, which is middle part which comes across/ through whole inner binoviewer distance, while in previous version is grey colour.
So whats advantage here: stronger and smoother working system of IPD adjustment.
As you can see, new production have BLACK painted, and its very SHINY, so under some circumstances, it might cause some reflections. For those who will bother, just paint that part with black matt spray.
Also, new production have bit larger Clear Aperture opening, measured at 28.3mm, while previous version have it exactly 28mm.
Other openings stayed same, with limited inner Clear Aperture at 26mm.
New back side does not have any thread as you can see, while older version have it, and on older version you can screw on directly 1.25" filters and other accessories - yes, for some it is advantage.
