Hello again everyone ,here is another  sketch of  M-42 from the night's  of February 8 - 12 that I created from my sisters house  on alto drive which is located on top of a medium sized mountain , you can see a panoramic view of Ojai from this location you can even see Lake Casitas from this vantage point. When there is a heavy on shore flow  with a deep marine layer her house usually resides  above the cloud tops giving you the most amazing conditions blocking out all the light pollution with Clear and super steady skies with extremely good transparency . Lucky I was able to use 2 of my best scopes to create this Sketch of Orion using a Superb 18" Starmaster f-4.3 with a Zambuto primary as well as my absolutely amazing 28" Slipstream Telescope 4.3

with my super sharp Kennedy primary.

First sketched on white copy paper using a # 2 pencil blended with stubs and using a kneaded eraser to remove excess pencil later uploaded to Procreate which I then smoothed and softened pencil marks and adjusted contrast ,next I Inverted it to a monochromatic sketch again adjusting levels to give it the same look as it appeared in the eyepiece next uploading to photoshop express  to adjust levels and adding text .this was sketched using 4 different eyepieces a 10 mm Ethos, , 12 nagler type 5 & the Hd Nikon nav 17 mm.then attaching the eic effectively operating @ a 14 mm. Thanks for looking.

The areas around Theta 1 Orionis and Theta 2 Orionis are utterly sublime in your sketch, Jon.

Super detail everywhere in this sketch,

Clear skies from Aubrey.
