So yeah, someone gave me a perfectly serviceable ETX-90 OTA. I had it on an old Orion mount, but it's not GoTo. There is a ETX-60 on FB for $65 so I thought it might be a good swap. Can it be done easily?

Can you mount a ETX-90 OTA to a ETX-65 mount?

I'm not sure about the 60, but on Weasner's ETX site I've seen where someone adapted their 90 to fit the mount for a 70.
It's somewhere on this page http://www.weasner.c...x/techtips.html

Unfortunately, I don't think the mount is universal across the ETX line, although that would have been nice. Easier to shim than to stretch, unfortunately.

The ETX 60 and the ETX 70 are on the same mount so if it works for one, it will work for the other. I have no idea if its actually doable though.

HI
If I may
The GOTO mount for ETX90 is not the same as for a 70, 105 or 125. Each has a different spacing.
Used GOTO ETX mounts often have gear problems.
The gears are plastic.
So take a good look and test the mount....
I have an ETX90 RA (with a single RA tracking engine).
I wanted a GOTO, but I gave up because a lot of gotos were too damaged.
