I have been doing a practice run today with my SVX102T and the Reducer Flattener, so far, I have yet to see any sunspots. I can see a hint of some as I adjust focus. Clouds have been in and out. I know recently there have been some massive spots, I am a bit disappointed, or I am doing something wrong.

No it won't.  It's doing that on purpose to make focusing more difficult for everyone on the day of the eclipse.

Ok good so not just me. I was out very briefly yesterday during a 20 minute break in the clouds here and was half paranoid that I couldn't get my back focus for my camera right when I couldn't find a sun spot.

I can see one small sunspot near the edge on the lower right of the sun today.  Hopefully there will be more next week.

Same here with a new Reducer.

We've got some good sunspots again.   AR 3628 is large and in charge.
